The Cargo Pisa is a transport ship that appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway.

Design & Development

A special transport ship that Hathaway had arranged for at Anaheim Electronics on the moon to send the Xi Gundam and its spare equipment to Earth for the raid on the Adelaide Conference.

Parts

• Passenger Section

Located at the top section and accessed by the entry hatch it has 6 seats on the hatch level, 2 extra seats climbing the stairs and the entrance hatch to the below Air Lock Block between the 2 rows of seats.

• Air Lock Block

Small airtight section where humans can breathe normally in space without a normal suit, 6 cargo packets stored here carry equipment like the Xi's special pilot suit for Hathaway.

• Cargo Block

The Xi Gundam and all its spare equipment are stored here.

Operational History

It was set on an automated course to be recovered by Mafty in the Pacific, however, due to special circumstances, Hathaway had to reach orbit to board it ahead of time. It was destroyed during descent by the Penelope, but the Xi Gundam was activated just in time so Hathaway managed to escape from it unscathed. All of the Xi's spare equipment fell to the ocean and only 50% of it was recovered by Mafty.

Notes & Trivia

• Katoki had prepared a draft for it like it was in the novel, a false meteor with facilities inside. But then it was decided to have it like a normal cargo ship without any external disguise.
