Galcezon

From The Free Gundam Wiki

The Galcezon is a sub flight system that appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway.

Design & Development

A fifth generation mobile suit manufactured by Anaheim Electronics for Mafty's raid on the Adelaide Conference[1]. Although it is a sister machine to the Penelope, more epoch-making technology has been introduced since it is equipped with a built-in Minovsky Flight Unit[1].

A two-stage rocket booster attached to the rear of the Galcezon to allow it to escape Earth's gravity and reach orbit. The 1st stage uses the 2 side rockets while the 2nd stage uses the central rocket. Two additional pieces of equipment are also mounted when using it: a shield covering the stored MS that can be purged and additional armor covering the area under the cockpit and Bottom Beam Gun.

Notes & Trivia

  • In the novel it didn't receive a design, so it got designed for SD Gundam G Generation F by Kazumi Fujita.
  • The anime design is based on the G Generation design but heavily modified: it changed from a round design to a long straight one, it's not single seat anymore and more weapons&gimmicks were added.
