Odysseus Gundam
The RX-104 Odysseus Gundam is a mobile suit that appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway.
Design & Development[edit | edit source]
A fifth generation mobile suit manufactured by Anaheim Electronics for Mafty's raid on the Adelaide Conference[1]. Although it is a sister machine to the Penelope, more epoch-making technology has been introduced since it is equipped with a built-in Minovsky Flight Unit[1]. Its overall height exceeds 26 meters and its arms are considerably larger than the standard mobile suit's size[1]. While it bears the name "Gundam", it has a shape that stands out as a monstrous silhouette[1].

- Odysseus as the Penelope's base MS didn't exist in the 1989 novel. It was created and designed for the 2000 game SD Gundam G Generation F by Yasuhiro Moriki.
- The anime version of the Odysseus is virtually identical to the G Generation design.
- Penelope's, Odysseus' and Argos' names are based on the characters "Penelope", "Odysseus" and "Argos" in Homer's epic poem, the "Odyssey".
